PFERD Step Drills are sturdy high-performance tools for burr-free drilling and deburring of sheet metal, pipes and profiles. Materials up to 4 mm thick can be drilled and deburred easily in a single step. PFERD also offers step drills with a high-quality HICOAT coating. To ensure reliable torque transmission, all step drills have a three-surface shaft.
Set contains 3 HSS Step Drills:
– 1 x STB HSS 04-12/6 – 9 step, 4mm to 12mm
– 1 x STB HSS 04-20/8 – 9 steps, 4mm to 20mm
– 1 x STB HSS 04-30/10 – 14 steps, 4mm to 30mm

Recommendations for use:
– Only use machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
– Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn while using the tool.
– Use HSS step drills on sheets, pipes and profiles with a maximum thickness of 4 mm.
– Use cutting oil/compressed air as a coolant and lubricant in the case of step drills without a coating. (Smoother drilling action and extended service life.)
– Avoid Material Cross Contamination.
